One of the Underutilized Perks of Life on a Sailboat

I’m ashamed to admit that since we moved onto the boat in January, we’ve only been sailing a few times. Adam’s mom Laurie, came up to visit us over the weekend and we went out into the ocean, put up the sails and got our feet wet (so to speak). Unlike our previous marina in the San Diego Harbor (where it takes two hours to sail to the mouth of the Bay) the Channel Islands Harbor is so small you can be out in the ocean in 10 minutes!
