Bassac
Bassac is a small town, or more specifically a French commune, which is located in the southwestern region of Poitou-Charentes, will be our new home for several months.
La Maison
This is Pam and Fred’s house on Rue Porte Barrier in Bassac, France where we’ll be living for a while. Pam and Fred live on a sailboat in San Diego and bought this home a few years ago while dreaming about retirement.

4pm – load luggage (see below) into cab (cab driver with furrowed brow, instantly regretting his proximity to our house at the time of our call to his dispatcher, not pictured), drive to Dulles Airport.
