La Maison

This is Pam and Fred’s house on Rue Porte Barrier in Bassac, France where we’ll be living for a while. Pam and Fred live on a sailboat in San Diego and bought this home a few years ago while dreaming about retirement. Recently they had all of their earthly possessions, previously residing in a storage unit in CA, shipped to France and unloaded in their empty, uninhabited, partially-renovated house. Adam and I plan to spend our first week here going through boxes, arranging furniture and setting up some comfortable rooms to spend time in. In the coming months, we’ll tackle renovation projects between having fun exploring France.
